Saturday's Prophecy with Antoine
Saturday & early Sunday morning has been great so far..(its 6:25am btw)..
After a five hour sleep, I awoke at 12:30pm with Zena telling me there was a man waiting outside the building trying to get into our flat..Being the 'hallucinating-when-tired person' that I am I told her to go see who its is!!Poor girl..She met 'Ken the powta'. She obviously thought he was a random guy so she just ignored the door bell.
Ken, being the determined person that he is, let himself in our flat..She was happily sipping her cup of tea watching LOST when this guy barges into the living room and into the kitchen saying 'GOOOD Moaning' in the background..
To make a long story short she discovers his true identity and finds out its our porter Ken.Ken to the rescue as usual..trying to make sure our flat doesnt fall apart..She is obviously surprised as he knows where all of us are at that time..and she doesnt..lol (a bit exaggerated..)
I forced myself to get up so we can begin our Saturday..
First stop..PORTOBELLO MARKET..
We first head for lunch @ *King Falafel* (..strongly recommended btw) and we then continued into the market in search for bargains..
I met a guy who sold me a huuuuge black and white picture of Elvis in black and White..for POET (a truly dedicated
Elvis fan)...hope you liked it;-).The guy seemed a bit bored ..or maybe it was a lack of customers. He felt like he needed to tell me he met Osama Bin Laden's brother and that he was thinking of buying a flat in Mecca and how short the lease was and so on..
MOVING ALONG
We went into a shoe store and Zena was about to *BREAK* the delicate glass table when she saw these knee length peep toe boots..brown and had handmade silk embroidery on them..she then literally FORCED her size 5 feet into the size 4 in her hands...(joke;p)...after bonding with the shoes we were ready to continue shopping in the market..great designers..especially the filipino one..she was grrreat..a successful lady with a clothes factory in the philippines..she was sweet..we left the market really happy and headed home..Afterall, we did have a long day ahead of us and needed some rest..
A two hour nap later, we were crooning to the tunes of Elvis..and getting ready..(mood: chilled)..
Elvis wasnt right for the time..GWEN Stefani was..!!'This sh*& is BANANA..B.AY.ANA..ANA YEAH"...
Left for a quick dinner at Satsuma in Soha and witnessed a drag Queen saying hello to the people inside the restaurant..then we were off to meet the rest of the clan and chill out at the virgin duck...
......Our night was cut short by Mr.Antoine and his bulky bodyguards...
Overall,,,,the best Saturday in a very very and I mean very looong time..
Its getting very late and I should head straight to bed.
Enjoy,
COOK.
