The world's most expensive Sandwich

Apparently this is the most expensive sandwich in the world. It will be sold in Selfridges, London for the price of 85 pounds.IMAGINE!!and whats even more absurd..Poet and I are going to try it...!!!
You might wonder what makes this sandwich so expensive?Well, Wagyu beef is the main ingredient in the sandwich. The Wagyu cattle are one of the most expensive breeds in the world. The Japanese cows are raised on a special diet, including beer and grain. They are supposed to be regularly massaged with sake, the Japanese rice wine, to tenderize the flesh.
The other ingredients include fresh lobe foie gras, black truffle mayonnaise, brie de meaux, rocket, red pepper and mustard confit and English plum tomatoes.
YUMMY!

did you know that:
a)the cattle is killed at a young age, before it reaches maturity.
b)due to all the massages, the cattle cannot physically walk. the muscles are too tender to carry its weight.
c)it actually tastes great. i tried it once before i knew A and B.
if you can hold that on your conscious.. then be my guest and have it.. i have a feeling Zena will have something to say about this though.. (go zena go zena go)
much love..
oh my god froggy, we havent even met and you know me so well! haha
i just came on here to leave a COMMENT, and that was BEFORE i read the interesting things that froggy informed us of!
Girls, i really dont know what to say! except...isnt it really sick??
here are people that are MASSAGING animals to make the flesh more tender. feeding them a certain diet so that their flesh will be tastier.
it reminds me of the Witch in that story "Hansel and Gretel". Feeding them up so that their flesh will taste better. if this was being done with humans, it would be considered crazy!! and inhumane!! even though for cannibalistic tribes its NORMAL to eat other humans, how come we're stopping them and we're not stopping people eating animals? Human Rights...what about Animal Rights??
Its one thing to eat meat when you're starving and need to survive. its survival instinct. But I am SURE, that we can survive without contributing to the (should be illegal) market of rearing animals in appalling conditions to satisfy our greedy taste buds!
Phew. sorry if thats all over the place, but I had to comment!
So think girls...how many other things you could buy for that 85 pounds!! you could buy something that doesnt contribute to the maltreatment of innocent animals!
its like most chicken on the market today...the poor chickens are kept in appalling conditions, with the lights on 23 hours a day, since chickens eat when its bright and sleep when its dark. so the lights are kept on to make them keep eating, since they're chickens they dont know when to stop. they get so fat that their bones cant support their weight and so break beneath them! imagine those conditions. Haram. Its really haram.
You know I was going to slate you for spending £85 on a sannie but after reading the comments from Frogman & Zena I have changed my mind.
If you have the cash then go for it!
