another one of POET's thoughts..

again, this sounds better in Arabic.. but here goes nothing..

There is a whole world out there, laughter, tears, hope and pain, all beautiful in it’s own way, but he just seems to let it go on “out there”.

The rain drops fall only to embrace his window. The window that still chokes on the pieces of darkness he has imprisoned himself in for all these years. Thinking, wondering, when the sun will shine again behind the lifeless blinds that control him. Behind the darkness, his loneliness only becomes greater. I feel his endless nights crawling into my space through my window which faces his. Oh how miserable his sadness makes me. How can he not find a ray of light in his dark dark world? Does he not know that universe resides within his soul? A prisoner behind the bars of constant worry which has accumulated over time, only to craft steep slopes and mountains which bury the infinite world beneath them. All he needs is a little faith in order to release the child within him. But faith in what? Or whom? All that is in his eyes is an unkind emptiness.
