May Day

A lovely evening to you all..a horrible day for me..
I awoke at 11 am this morning thinking to myself I will head to the library and study..Lil' Fairy awoke and told me she was coming with me..after trying to alter the available track pants arrayed colourfully by me on the bed, she settled for the one that doesnt fall off as soon as she tries to walk, but at the one that hangs lowly , confusing some as to whether there really is a being under there..!!
We head out at around 12:10 and we decide no time for breakfast..it will be lunch and dinner tonight..so we settle on "the ultimate burger"..on our way there we were kindly approached by a british red cross worker from 6an6a Eygpt/England..yes really..he asked me .."You know the Red Cross?" ..I politely replied "yes"..asking lil' fairy the question she replies "No!"..it was the stress...after giving him a kind donation and promising to give more when all these years of hard work pays off, he lets us free and waves good bye while chanting a few Egyptian words he has learnt..
After a pleasant meal at the UB we decided to head to the most relevant bus stop to our destination..(a ten minute walk to the library)..we wait and wait ..Raph calls us and tells us he has saved us two seats on the FOURTH FLOOR..I repeat THE FOURTH FLOOR...Haaaaaaaaalllelllujah....Hallelujah Hallellujah!!!
We tell him we will be there very soon..So Lil'fairy grows impatient and says maybe its better we get a cab since the bus has decided to be 20 minutes late...Little did we know what was in store for us...
The cab driver informes us because of the MayDay demonstrations blocking Kingsway (our destination) he will have to reroute..we say yes yes!!I wish I had never said "yes yes!"I wish I said its ok...we will just walk..it will only take 7 minutes...but we didnt we just started talking about how much stress we were under...
At least half an hour, a few bumps in our heads and a very frustrated driver later he decided to drop us off at Barbican tube station ( located in EC1 AND We were heading to WC2 initially). He told us Holborn isnt far away and that we will be there in no time...ok thats great....but wait!!!!!!!!!!!!!!BarbicanSTATION IS CLOSED!!!
I had to think quick...we needed to go anywhere that had the central line so we stop another taxi and ask him too head to Oxford circus..He thought our hair was all over the place because we were excited about going shopping I guess..coz before we got off he chanted
"Oxford Circus! left here and goes on to the right...have a good daaay!"....
15 minutes later we were at the library..Perfect..right?WRONG!!!!
Our seats were taken..yes..if a seat is unoccupied , apparently they can move the books that are in front of it and just decide to take over...!!the one seat I found was next to a law student doing family law..she KINDLY gave me 1/4 of the table and took the rest!!!all the 260+ (still counting) computers were also occupied...
So I decided to head back home and just stay there...when Raph ' the life saver' calls to tell us he found us seats on THE FOURTH FLOOR...Haaaalllellujah!!
20 minutes later we are sitting on the 4th floor...
Have a good day as they say!
