Plz give ur thoughts .....
i just read Zena's blog, the one about 'happiness' .. this got me thinking about something else.. i was told that i put my happiness in the hands of others.. for example, if someone dear to me started acting a bit 'isolated'.. i would jump to the conclusion that maybe i did something wrong, maybe there is something seriously wrong with them,, and that would ruin the rest of the day for me.. it would completely consume my thoughts and leave me in no mood to do anything else.. this does get tiering at a certain point.. sometimes i just wish i could care less what people were feeling if they didn't just come out and say it.. i just worry too much.. but i guess that's the way i'm built..
to anyone who is reading this blog, what do u base ur happiness on? do u have a t-shirt u wear that makes u happy? or maybe its a picture u look at, or a song u sing that makes u happy? what circumstances to do u have to be in in order for u to be content? or are u a worry-free happy person naturally?? ooh i wish it were that easy...

It's completely natural that when someone close to you acts different, you start doubting yourself. If you didn't, you would be an obnoxious, selfish person. So, don't worry.
But, what do you base happiness on? Well, you got the cliche answer, which is, don't forget to count your blessings on the little things; health, family, money...etc.
However, personally, I base my happiness on my achievements. I look back to see where I started and how far I came along and that always makes me feel better!

welcome to our blog :-) when i actually posted this i was feeling down,, so thank u.. but when i re-read it just now (feeling much better) it seems a bit silly.. there is so much more to happiness.. but when ur feeling down, ur sort of blinded to all the other great things in life :-)

happiness should come from within. not from outside triggers or influences. however, we're programmed to think that in order to be happy, all the correct conditions must be met outside of ourselves. sortof like a recipe.
thats not true.
true happiness comes from within. comes from the feeling of serenity and calmness that comes with understanding our place in the balance of nature.
to me, at this precise moment in time, 10:52 on a monday morning, that is what happiness is to me

Happiness... It's a strong word. I don't think that one act or thing could make me completely, truly happy. However, I am more happy than unhappy, and I consider myself a generally happy, lucky and content person.
At this time, my "happiest" happiness is in the hands of someone who is not very generous in sharing it...

i know how depressing and sad i sounded,, but in reality,, im not THAT bad :-p i was feeling a bit down at the time i posted that.. maybe happy was not the right word to use,, however, i know i base my (mood) if u like on external factors.. something i shouldnt do..

LOL I don't know what else I could base my happiness on if not external factors. What kind of internal factors (short of irregular bowel movements) could ever affect anyone's happiness? :p
Even being happy with oneself certainly comes from, or is influenced by, a variety of external factors.
so sorry about the pics! ive been in our house in the country for the last 2 weeks. im up in the city now, going down again on friday, so will take the pics with me and i have a scanner down there so will do that for you! promise!!
dream was extremely strange. me and buthy were in this huge shop, looking at clothes, and you came in. actually i think dawi was there too. anyhow, you came in and we were showing you a handbag and then we all started doing one of those 60's shoo-bop dances and singing!! now, isnt that just so strange! haha
